Business Conference in Newark
Date: November 17th and 18th, 2015
On November 17th and 18th, SNECS attended a business conference in Newark. The two-day event encouraged networking with other similar IT businesses in the country. We gained a lot of insight in new ways to deliver better service and support to our clients. We collaborated with professionals across the country (and even some from Canada) on what makes a great IT company even better? Together, we all came to the conclusion that every business (not just IT) must always be working on improving and evolving their standards, service and customer relationships.
eMyth Business Workshop
Date: November 12th, 2015
On November 12th, Nick, Paul and Leeanna attended the eMyth Business workshop at the Hampton Inn of Smithfield. There was a great energy among all the attendees which was made up of business owners all over the Northeast. Jim Crisafulli was a terrific speaker and together with him and his team of coaches, they lead a productive and insightful workshop. Everyone left there with a clear plan and goal for their business in 2016.
IT Free Fall – Successful Launch

On October 29th, we launched “IT Free Fall” at Symposium Books in East Greenwich. We were excited to see everyone that showed up and would like to thank everyone that was a part of it including WADK and WBLQ for interviewing us on their shows, Symposium Books for hosting our event, everyone that stopped in to see us to be a part of it all and of course, everyone at Big Brother, Big Sisters of the Ocean State who benefited from all the proceeds of the launch!
SNECS Halloween Outing
Date: October 16th, 2015
The staff at SNECS went to “Field of Screams” and participated in group activities such as Zombie Paintball, a haunted hayride, a spooky fun-house and the dungeon of doom! There were many screams followed by tons of laughs throughout the night!
The Big Toast!
Date: October 1st, 2015
Leeanna and PJ of Southern New England Computer Services attended Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Ocean State‘s 5th Annual “The Big Toast!”. The night started out with a “POP!” thanks to the balloon raffle! Each balloon purchase was a direct donation with a random gift inside, ranging from a bottle of wine to a private cooking class for a group of six! It was a smashing success thanks to the support of all the donors, guests and volunteers! You can see photos from the event here.
5th Annual “Make Tracks for Kids”
Date: June 9th, 2015
“Team SNECS” of Southern New England Computer Services won the award for the “Top Team Collector” by being the team to raise the most money for the 5th Annual “Make Tracks for Kids”. Together, with all the participants, they were able to raise thousands of dollars for Connecting for Children and Families.
The Big Night Out!
Date: May 2nd, 2015
Leeanna and PJ of Southern New England Computer Services attended Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Ocean State‘s Kentucky Derby themed “The Big Night Out!”. There was a silent auction with items for all tastes. Auction items included handmade items from local artists, sports packages with autographed pictures, weekend getaways and so much more! Between donations and auction earnings, BBBSOS was able to raise $120,000 for their mentoring programs! You can see photos from the event here.
